Golfer Letter

Dear Potential Golfer and Sponsor, There are over 300 homeless veterans in the Myrtle Beach area and First Responders, in need of assistance. Our organization “Honor Our Heroes – NMB” works with local businesses and the golf community to assist local Heroes who Honorably served their country and community. Honor Our Heroes – NMB is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization ((FEN 92-2035721). Our main fundraiser is a golf tournament. The 2nd Annual Honor Our Heroes – NMB Golf Tournament will be Tuesday, June 11 at 9am at the Barefoot Dye golf course. Golf will be followed with a barbeque meal, awards, raffle and silent auction. We are seeking golfers, donations or raffle merchandise from local businesses (show tickets, merchandise, gift bags, golf balls or a golf pass for a foursome, etc). All proceeds raised will be donated to the Veterans Welcome Home Resource Center (VWHRC) for a tiny home. We will also donate $5,000, if possible, to the Sgt Gordan Best Family. Sgt Best died in the line of duty in 2021 responding to an emergency in Barefoot Landing. You can also sponsor a hole for $200 and we will advertise your organization during the event.
